... And I have no idea what the results are ...  I posted this QR code on Facebook with the title "I wonder how many curious people there are ...". The code is an html link to this blog. The idea was to tempt those who recognised it as a QR code to click on it with their telephones. More people than usual visited here yesterday, yippee! I don't yet know how to find where they came from, fooey. My next test will be to print the code, with no text, and post it on supermarket bulletin boards. I'll keep you "posted" ... UPDATE 2013-07-24 Those 88 blog hits had nothing to do with the QR code. The QR code was responsible for only 2 hits ... and they were both me. :-( To the 67 readers who visited here three days ago, Thank You!
And to the seven readers who visited here yesterday ... my heart goes out to you, dear lost souls ... ;-) Internet Explorer has now picked up the new icon, but Firefox hasn't.
Just another irritation of ff. It could have been such a pleasant browser, but ... I still haven't been able to get the web site to display the new site icon. :-( Here is what it is supposed to be:
